Amana is now owned by well-known appliance maker Whirlpool, but the Amana brand has been around since the 1930s producing appliances made in the USA.

Amana has become Whirlpool's value line, offering high-quality products and reasonable prices. They are a lesser-known brand due to the fact that they do little in the way of national advertising like the major brands. However, their products are often perfect for consumers looking to save money on appliances and go without the name-brand label. When this article was originally written, Amana offered a 27" and a 30" single wall oven. However, the 27" model is being discontinued, so it may not be available for much longer.
