First up on our list of the largest side-by-side refrigerators of 2023 is the Whirlpool WRS588FIHZ. It's available in black or white at $1,999, fingerprint resistant stainless steel at $2,099, and the new fingerprint resistant black stainless steel style at $2,199.
Some of the neat features available in this side-by-side refrigerator include the FreshFlow Air Filter, which is 15 times more effective than baking soda at reducing common food odors, and In-Door Ice Storage to free up freezer shelving space. The frameless glass shelves also boost storage capacity compared to shelves with thick plastic frames. Clear door bins and interior bins throughout make it easy to find what you need. The freezer has two pull-out bins, while the fresh food section has crispers and a deli drawer. This model also offers a Measured Fill option for the water dispenser: set the number of ounces, cups, or liters you want and the dispenser will automatically shut off when it's done!

The GE GSS25GYPFS is one of the largest side-by-side refrigerator models around at this price point. It's almost similar in size to the Frigidaire model further down our reviews below, but this model's features remain competitive. It's available in fingerprint resistant stainless steel and slate at $1,798, while at $1,698 for white, black, and bisque.
LED lighting illuminates the inside of the fridge, so it's easier to find your food items. Baskets and drawers in the refrigerator and freezer cavities offer multi-level storage to help you sort and organize your food items. The factory-installed icemaker is perfect for hosting parties or keeping cool in the summer. It's a good choice if you want a large icemaker. However, it does take up space in the door and the top freezer shelf. The freezer offers two fixed and two adjustable bins rather than the typical one for more flexible storage. The fresh food side has three adjustable, 3 slide-out plus glass spill-proof shelves throughout. Note that the shelves for this model can extend from wall to wall, giving you flexibility to organize and store your favorite food items. We like that the water dispenser includes an actual temperature display so you can check on your refrigerator's cooling in real-time.

LG offers some of the largest French door refrigerators on the market, and this side-by-side model is a great example of a large but reasonably priced refrigerator. To keep food cool and fresh longer, it features Door Cooling+ and Linear Cooling (read about the LG linear compressor here). The compact SpacePlus Ice System is placed on the inside door of the freezer section of the LG LRSXS2706S to free up shelf space and can hold up to 3.5 pounds of ice.
The ice and water dispenser is designed to dispense chilled filtered water to filtered cubed or crushed ice with just a light touch. Inside the fresh food section, you'll find four tempered glass shelves and four bins. The freezer section has five glass shelves, one drawer, and door bins.
