Available in stainless steel only at $2,098, the GE GDE25EYKFS is an Energy Star rated model with a factory-installed icemaker. If you're looking for a model that doesn't have a ton of bells and whistles, you might prefer this GE model.
Keep track of your fridge's performance easily with up-front electronic temperature controls and a digital temperature display. The multi-flow air system uses electronic sensors to check for temperature changes and turn the compressor on or off in response. A clear snack drawer provides storage for cheeses, deli meats, and more, and two humidity-controlled crispers help your fresh fruits and vegetables stay fresh.

LG has surpassed their previous large bottom freezer, the LDCS24223S, with the LG LRDCS2603S. The capacity has increased from 24.1 to 25.5 cubic feet, and is available in PrintProof stainless steel at $1,799. It's Energy Star rated and uses a unique cooling system with a linear compressor. Basically, this type of compressor is more efficient and has fewer moving parts, so it's less likely to need repairs.
On top of that, you can use LG's SmartDiagnosis smartphone app to help troubleshoot any issues you might run into. The Smart Cooling system uses sensors and multiple airflow vents to make sure the entire refrigerator cavity stays cool. Tempered glass shelves, humidity-controlled crispers, and a Glide-N-Serve full-width pantry drawer helps your groceries stay organized and easy to find. Door Cooling+ and the Multi-Air Flow freshness system keep your food fresher for longer, using multiple vents and temperature sensors to circulate cool air.

KitchenAid's contribution to the largest bottom freezer refrigerator market is the KitchenAid KRBR102ESS, a 22.1 cubic feet model available in stainless steel only. Unlike many refrigerators on the market today, it doesn't come with a factory-installed icemaker. If you prefer the good old-fashioned ice cube tray method, you might prefer it this way. An optional icemaker kit is available, sold separately, if you change your mind!
This Energy Star rated model includes a metal wine rack perfect for chilling white wines and lighter reds, plus a full-width pantry drawer. The ExtendFresh temperature management system uses a sensor in the fridge and freezer to monitor each area's humidity and temperature. The produce preservers in the humidity-controlled crisper drawers help slow down the ripening process - reducing the likelihood of overripe, inedible produce. As produce ripens, it releases ethylene gas, which tells any produce nearby to start ripening, too. Maytag is a well-known name in the US and has some pretty distinctive commercials out there - one of their more recent ad campaigns involves showing the Maytag Man posing as a new appliance ready for duty! They're known for having some of the best repair records around. The Maytag MBF2258FEZ is made in the USA (like all Maytag appliances) and offers 22.07 cubic feet of storage space. Despite being one of the largest bottom freezer refrigerator models on the market, it won't drive up your electricity bill thanks to its Energy Star rating.
This basic model offers a lot of bang for the buck: a factory-installed icemaker, humidity-controlled FreshLock crispers, and a full-width snack drawer as well. It comes in fingerprint-resistant stainless steel, making it a great pick for households with children or people who just hate smudges!

Maytag MBF2258FEZ - $1,999 MSRP
That sums up our list of the largest bottom freezer refrigerators of 2024. The second model on our list from LG is the absolute largest bottom freezer refrigerator, but the others are close contenders with some great features! The models from KitchenAid, Whirlpool, and Maytag have a depth (including the doors but ignoring the handles) that's shallower than the larger LG and GE models.
